I was clever. Then love caught me by surprise.
This is a real image taken in Hawaii at least 10 years ago or so. The family who took it had just had some issues with cancer. They took the picture thinking it was just of a rainbow. After the film was developed, they noticed an angel on the rainbow. To them, this was a sign from God. (Taken with instagram)

HOMOPHOBIC AND PROUD

There’s a double standard in play here. Ok, so the gays and those who support them have their opinion, and those against them have their own opinion as well. Now, if someone who is against gay rights calls someone who is gay a faggot or acts out against them, it’s bullying, an insult, or a hate crime, or just labeled as wrong. But here’s where the double standard comes in. Gay people and supporters of gay rights often call those opposed to it homophobes. Is that not bullying or an insult? Because more often than not, there are no homophobes. Myself, for example, am not a homophobe. But if I were to say my opinion, which is that I find homosexuality wrong and it should not be allowed, some would call me a homophobe. But I’m not afraid of gays. There’s no fear of gay at all. The reason people such as myself disagree with homosexuality is that it goes against our morals, our religion maybe, and one of the best points—it goes against what is natural. There’s no fear. Just moral integrity and understanding of the way nature works. That thing called reproduction that is essential to life? Yeah, it can’t happen between two men or two women. That withstanding, homosexuality contradicts life. Now, my other point. Faggot is often considered a derogatory term for a gay person. I feel like homophobe is becoming a derogatory term for someone who opposed homosexuality. If people are allowed to call others homophobes and it is considered ok, I should be allowed to go around my school calling gays faggots and not be punished as a bully. Again, the double standard. Another related point, we need to stop sugar-coating everything. Bullying is a bug deal. But it’s nothing new. And it will always happen, no matter who you are. But society is weakening us. Say, maybe 50 or so years ago, when someone was bullied, they’d easily get away with just fighting back, or they’d just get over it an move on with their life. That’s how it should be, because bullying is just a part of our lives. It happens. But now, it’s not right to fight someone who is picking on you. Your supposed to run away, or tell an adult, or let them do it. And people are so emotional that they commit suicide over it? I’m sorry, but with that kind of emotional problem, people are unfit for life. Life is hard. It doesn’t really get easier. But we just have to accept it. It’s life. Back to homosexuality, and keeping with my linking to the past. Up until the early ’70s, homosexuality was considered a mental disorder, a sign of insanity. It makes sense, because humans have the natural, primitive instinct to reproduce buried in their subconscious, and even in their conscious mind. So there must be something mixed up in the mind of someone who thinks they should be sexually attracted and paired with someone whom they cannot possibly reproduce with. We should not be accepting something that is not natural human behavior. My point with that is, for all of those who think that gay-badgers are all Bible-thumpers, there is an obvious scientific reason why homosexuality is wrong. Go ahead, hate me. But remember that double standard. Don’t deny it, because it’s true.
